Privacy notice

What we collect

When you write to us. Your name, email address, the optional line about what you’re building, your message, which page you sent it from, and when.

When you read a page. A page view — which page, where you came from, your browser, operating system and screen size, roughly where you are (country and region, from your IP address), and how fast the page loaded. Today this site sets no cookies. It keeps two small settings in your browser: your day or night choice, if you make one, and whether your device can show the 3D scene. Neither is sent to us, and neither tells us who you are or that you’ve visited before.

Automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, time, page, browser — to keep the site up and stop abuse.

That’s all of it today. We don’t sell or share personal information. If we start advertising or add tools that use cookies, we’ll update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Why

To reply to you, to keep the site working, and to know roughly how many people read which pages. In GDPR terms: your message, to answer it (Art. 6(1)(b), (f)); page counts and logs, the legitimate interests just described (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who processes it

• Our hosting provider — runs the site and keeps the server logs described above (US)
• An email delivery service — carries your contact-form message, with your name, email address, and what you wrote, to the studio (US)
• Our DNS and edge provider — directs the site’s traffic and the mail sent to hello@m3tlabs.ai (US)
• An analytics service — the page counting described above (US)
• Our email provider — hosts the studio’s mailbox, where your message is kept

Each acts on our instructions under its own data-processing terms. We publish the categories rather than a standing list of companies. If you want to know who they are, including the ones that have handled your own information, write to hello@m3tlabs.ai and we’ll tell you — within 30 days at the latest. If you’re in the UK or EEA, your information is handled in the United States under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long

Your message stays in the studio’s mailbox as long as the conversation is useful, and we delete it when it isn’t. Page counts are kept in aggregate for up to 12 months; server logs roll off on our hosting provider’s schedule.

Your choices

Write to hello@m3tlabs.ai and ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. We’ll do it within 30 days and we won’t ask why. To switch the page counting off, use any content blocker — it blocks ours. In the UK or EEA you can complain to your data protection authority. In California you have the same rights. Today there is nothing to opt out of, because we don’t sell or share personal information; if that changes, this notice will say how to opt out.

This site isn’t for children, and we don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change means we collect something new, we’ll say so here before we start, and if we change the kind of company that handles your information, the list above changes with it.
